Gekko - Please Help

Contemplating big trade and would appreciate your advice. I'm in 13 team 5/5 mixed league which allows 7 keepers. This is year two (2) of three (3) year keeper league (redraft in 2008).

Along with Peavy and the Unit I planned on protecting these hitters:

HR RBI R SB AVE

Ortiz 45 140 110 0 .295

Sheffield 36 124 112 9 .297

Sizemore 22 89 117 25 .290

Wright 30 115 100 20 .300

Rollins 15 60 115 40 .295

Here is my question, an owner might be willing to offer J Bay for Sheffield and R Weeks (who can't protect). I like that Bay is younger than Sheff but wonder if I can afford to give up power stats Sheff gives me. I project Bay stats as follows:

Bay 35 115 105 18 .293

Should I pull the trigger and grab Bay ?

Bay > Sheffield. Always keep the better player. Bay's numbers are going up, Sheff's on the decline. It's a no brainer, especially since you cannot keep Weeks.
