Average Categories

How many industry experts (and smart people on general) are going to say that the average categories like WHIP, ERA and batting average are harder to make up as the season goes along? Its completely untrue.

The fallacy comes from the fact those categories barely change during your last few weeks because they are averages. But the statement that those are harder to mak up is untrue. Look at your league standings ffrom last year and you will see, the average categories changed just as much as the other categories.
