I was worried that I overspent by paying $37 for Lohse.

I think that the most ambitious acquisition was Bronson Arroyo at $357 in Tampa 3.

This is definitely a reason to add BBDS for draft slots-----NOT! Because FAAB is just so fair, reasonable, and consistent...

You are simply scratching a clawing for any advantage you can get...good for you...not good for the game as a whole.

Gordon, what do you think the #1 reason is for people being against BBDS? And was a vote ever taken for the NFBC as it was for the NFFC?



For some reason, at first I was against it, but the more I thought, it makes so much sense, especially when you make your valid points in favor of it.



So again, what has been the #1 hindrance to getting this thing going? I know some people have said it will scare away newbies, but I had never experienced FAAB and I still signed up for the NFFC.

Sometimes I write what looks controlled and true to my feelings at the time...then I wake up and feel embarrased that I offended someone...my intentions are to speak my mind...but not to offend.



Chest...that's brutal (3 in 330) but is there a way to make it a live auction bidding?...I know already...too time consuming...too many people, etc...so blind bidding is the only way to do that route. (Bidding).



I'm anti BB for draft slots due to the extreme variance league to league...putting many team owners at a big disadvantage toward winning the $100,000.00 by either having a bad draft slot (are there bad slots?)...or being broke to a degree.



Is the real problem league size? Why is there such a revolt toward random draft selection...the answer must be the built in advantage of the early selections due to the league size (15 teams)...could you say for certain (varies year to year) if a 10 team or 8 team league would be the most fair?



I see no problem with random draw...but there may be a problem with 15 team leagues.



...and congrats to you Double G...you almost nailed my drink...it's Jim Beam and Coke tonight...well...now it's tequilla and OJ...can only take so much Coke.

Someday in the future...we can have bidding (not blind) live every Sunday for free agents...those that cannot attend can put in their blind bid and hope it holds up!

Captain/Coke & Jim Beam/Coke & Tequilla/OJ are drinks that need to be consumed
