In what rounds would you target...
Chris Shelton,
Craig Wilson,
Josh Beckett,
Michael Barrett, and
Brad Hawpe?

Brad Hawpe? I will only comment on the one I did target...Barrett. I wanted him to be my No. 1 catcher and was going to take him some where from Round 8 to Round 10. I took him in the 9th. That might have been too early for March conventional wisdom, but so far (way early) it is looking like a good gamble.
Only time will tell...let's look at this list in late August/early September and see if we still feel the same about these hot early players....

I just looked at Barrett as far as draft evaluation goes and as a consensus, he was like the 148.68 player take, which would put him in the middle of the 10th round, so I guess I did not get him so early.
Shelton was the 180.84 (early 13th), Wilson (392.65 or early 27th), Beckett (101.16 or mid 7th), and Hawpe (299.6 or last pick of the 19th or first pick of the 20th round).
Looks like the candidates for consideration to move up in the draft a considerable amount if it were held to day would be Hawpe and Wilson.
