Evaluating 2006...sort of!

Since I am doing so well (again), I was looking at my draft and draft strategy (i.e. was that a wise move at that time). I thought I would toss this one up for the folks.

Was I crazy in the 7th round (94th player) to take Glaus? So far he has 524 AB, an expected .252 BA, 36 HR, 102 R, 100 RBI, 3SB. My first six picks were Tex, AmRam, Carlos Lee, J. Lugo, BJ Ryan, J. Schmidt.

The other players that went before my next pick were:

Burrell Pat

Blalock Hank

Roberts Brian

Webb Brandon

Mora Melvin

Lackey John

Valverde Jose

Gomes Jonny

Edmonds Jim

Beltre Adrian

Myers Brett

Benitez Armando

Gonzalez Mike

Thome Jim

Cano Robinson

Gordon Tom

Polanco Placido

Freel Ryan

Iguchi Tadahito

Patterson John

Guardado Eddie

Jones Todd

Thoughts? Hindsite is dangerous, but based on what we all thought we knew in March, was Glaus in the 7th worth the risk to BA?
