I am in a 15 team keeper league, you can keep 2 prospects for up to two years without activating them. We draft 25 active players and the two prospect spots. This year we only have 1 pick because we are keeping Homer Bailey as our 2nd keeper. We have the second pick in the prospect portion of the draft wich is really the 26th round except you can only draft rookie eligible. So most of the prospects that are close to the bigs we have been picked already. Ok So these are the guys that we have been looking at I was hoping you could give me some feedback on some of these names or feel free to add some of your own. In no order Camerin Maybin, Andrew Miller, Jay Bruce , Evan Longoria , Andrew McCutchen, Jose Tabata , Yovanni Gallardo. These names are already taken Gordon , Hughes, D. Young , Kendrick , Lester. Please at least one person reply to this because it took forever to write with my hunt and peck method. Thanks

but seriously I know Longoria put up 18hr in 248 minor league ab's and ended up in AA. He was drafted out of college so you know he's close to ready, there's a good chance he'll see the majors in '08.

The players that you say are taken are the cream of the crop ready to hit the majors guys and the guys you're looking at taking are mediocre single A players. There has to be some middle ground. Go get Kevin Slowey. Out of these guys the only one I really like is Gallardo (a starter, lots of K's, has proven himself in double A--if Maddux can just have him keep the walks down he could be a superstar as a starter or converted closer).
