Bonds - All Star? Conspiracy Theory!

MLB states Bonds was voted in by the fans. Hmmmmm? Probably was but I'm throwing out the conspiracy theory that to cover MLB / Selig's a-s-s and having MLB say Bonds was voted in by the fans this way MLB or an all-star manager doesn't have to make the decision to include him in the all-star festivities against the will of the fans. This would deflect and negative publicity away from MLB. Just a theory on my part but something that make one go hmmmmmmmm? LOL
