Thoughts on Sammy Sosa

Post by BaseBrawler » Sat Dec 15, 2007 2:57 am

Now that the Mitchell report is in, and guys like Pettitte, Clemens, and Tejada have been outed. I have to wonder about Sammy Sosa. His name has never been mention in any discussion, with the exception of a reporter asking him to take a drug test. In my own opinion there is a good chance that he did something, but without proof or evidence? Im just curious what everyone else thinks? Where does his 600 home runs stand, and what is his Hall of Fame status for the future?

Thoughts on Sammy Sosa

I think the Mitchell report proves MLB and the players assn was very uncooperative and completely stone walled him.

Can you imagine how absent this report would have been of any info if someone else did not bust the Mets clubhouse guy.

I think the court of public opinion is so mislead here and Sosa is a great example. Sosa is clean because he did not get his roids from the Mets clubhouse guy or get outed by Piatt, Bigbie, or the guy who outed Clemens please....

My best undeducated guess are there are 10 more Mets clubhouse guy types throughout the game and all those guys got a free pass.

Have you seen Sosa in street clothes in the late 90's or early this decade. He looked exactly like the guy everybody snickers about as the roider at your local gym. Hard to put in to words what extremely roided out muscles look like but you know them when you see them. You could also see how bad his body acne was. To me absolutely no doubt the guy was a juicer.
