Great Job, Mark!

No apparent cuts...easy to understand...nice pace.

Nice finish with the Nirvana and scrolling revue.

The angle of the NFBC logo on the hat actually looked much better in a slight side to side oval (more circular...like a baseball...as opposed to the NFL clone shape for the NFFC which fits football.)

I know you better than to put much weight into the actual picks (but for a Mag draft...what the hey!)...but the video was well done.

(There was a slight delay in the sound...and the kitchen must have had soft lights to be the selected place to film...but it didn't distract at all.)

Nice job GG and can't say I disagree with any of the picks you have mapped out.

I actually think he was shooting straight. Won't matter on this end as we are on opposite ends of the spectrum.

First reaction. Takes balls to put yourself out there like that especially giving away your picks.

Love the part about fantasy players having a short memory. Very true, insightful observation. That's what you use against your competition. Most fantasy guys look at last year as a barometer (whether they try to or not) for this year's value. Helpful to a point, but so many more things to consider when projecting near-future value.

I expect a very nice rebound from Pujols and based on his 7 years in baseball and 162 game seasonal average of .332-42-128 with 126 runs, I expect more of the same. I think last year was clearly an aberration (for most players a career year but hey). We have to remember that the greatest of great players have their "down" years. To erase the previous 6 years of his career because people think he has bad lineup protection (overrated) is ridiculous.

In fact, if you think in terms of what motivates certain people especially top athletes ie.(competitiveness, ego, anger, greed) you might see a MONSTER season we haven't seen from him before. Just a thought.

Also V-Mart's value is that of a .330-35-130 outfielder IMHO based on the incredible lack of talent at catcher this year.

2 solid picks. I'm not very big on your other picks but who am I to argue?

Good luck on your draft.

Nicely done Mark. It got my Sunday off with a smile. I think all of the NFBC who watches will agree with at least half of what you said and many will agree more. Should be very interesting on Thursday.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

So this is what you do when the wife's away. :D

It was missing a bikini-clad (apron-clad?) NFBC girl carrying a round card before each pick.

After viewing the video I had a compulsion to drop Johnny Damon several spots down on my outfield list. So I replayed it at half speed... the subliminal messages, genius!!

Man, Mark, it sure took you a long time to figure out how to work that camcorder....didn't you purchase that months ago? :D

BTW, when are we going to see the proceedings from Atlantic City?? Or will it be pay-per-view/rental only due to the mature nature?

There are 2 hours of video to choppiece together. It's like a blackhole for time. Most of it is "talking head" stuff too. Lighting isn't the best either. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

Thanks for your interest.

Hey Mark

Great job It does take balls to list your plan and I know IT IS YOUR PLAN You tell it like it is. Now Victor will be taken at 2-5 and Martin will go at 2-7. I was going to draft 1 of those in the 2nd and still will. Going to Florida this year based on last years snow in NY

SHAWN: Great stuff. Problem is people fail to realize that you now OWN that mountain thanks to the cash you've brought in from the NFBC.

Keep it rolling boys.
