The Phillies did Beat the Mets the last 8X they played them last yr, enroute to that Division Championship!

No major league team had owned a lead of seven games or more with 17 to play, or been up by at least seven on Sept. 12 or later, and failed to finish in first place.
Trust me comming from a Phillie fan, they didnt really earn it was handed to them... Of course you have to give a very small amount of credit.. But it shouldnt of happened the METS are a better team.
