Ethier Named Starting LF

Torre has named Ethier the starting LF...as a Dodgers fan, I have to say, great call. Ethier is the best pure hitter in the OF bunch...not as much power as Kemp, but good hitter!!!

kemp hit 6th yesterday against a righty (and a.jones was out of the lineup). i guess that was just a mirage

No, it was an... exhibition game. Kemp will bat third tomorrow, and I think Torre is telling the truth when he says that the line-up will change at first depending on the pitcher. If Kemp hits, it won't be long until he has a top 5 slot full time.
