They walked both Utley and Howard to load the bases with one out. I know it is to get at Werth, but two intentional walks back to back! Don't see that every day.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

And it didn't work. Colome walked Werth on four straight in the tenth and the Nats streak is over!
