Nine steals through 15 games. That puts him on pace to swipe 95+ bases this year. If he could just get his OBP over .300 we might see 100.

I drafted him with a projection of 38 steals on a .318 OBP (.262 BA). Looks like the over on steals. How many SB do you think Gomez will end up with?

Note to self: Put 'on pace' along with SLEEPERS.

Speaking of "On Pace" (and sorry to hijack...but this wasn't worth a new subject)

I wanted to see the difference from 2007 to 2008 for Hanley Ramirez.

Through 14 games...

2008

.382 AVG

3 HR

11 RBI

11 RUN

2 SB

2007

.364 AVG

3 HR

5 RBI

16 RUN

5 SB

Both look good to me. His improved RBI washes a bit out of his downturn in SB so far. (very small sample)

~Lance (Carlos Gomez steals 65 plus.)

they have 3 against sd and 10 against the yankees. that should be 20 right there. i will say 95 if he stays in line up and healthy enough to play 150 games.

Note to self: Do not jinx players at the beginning of the season by posting what they are 'on pace' to do. :D
