8 HRs already this season. Not too shabby for a second baseman.

Homerun #10 tonight. I know its early but it looks like another Philly guy is well on his way towards an MVP award.

Sounds like someone has a "crush" on utley. Kinda amazing that he's doing it without rollins and victorino in front of him and that stiff howard behind him.

The only "crush" I have is on Jessica Alba. :D

Zero chance he will be #1. He'll be lucky to be a top 3 pick.

I KDS'd for the 7/8 slot thinking I would have a real chance at Miggy or Utley. I got 7th and had a chance at both. Really sweated this one. I held my nose and chose Utley. I still think Miggy will have more BA, HR, RBI by the end of September than Utley so I thought I was leaving some offense on the table. I chose Utley for the dozen or so SB he brings to the table.

Looks brilliant right now (knock on wood). If Utley breaks the 40 HR barrier with a .290+ BA and 12 SB in 2008, I will have no complaints about my 1st rounder.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

In my first satellite draft this season, I had the #10 pick, and I was targeting Ryan Braun. He was picked at #9 so I debated between Crawford and Utley. I ended up with Utley...so life is good! (at least for April!)
