A month ago there was alot of folks drinkin' the haterade on Pierre. Now it startin' to look like the Dodgers should bench the "other" high priced veteran OF...Andruw Jones.



I myself was giddy that another owner chose Pierre in 10th rd before I took the fat one. Now I'm not so sure. He's been replaced in my lineup w/ a 30th rd pick...Brian Giles.



Of course the Dodgers are gonna give him a longer leash than we fickle fantasy folks, but is it possible that HE becomes the very expensive 4th OF (rather than Pierre)?



I know that he's still a better defensive OF than Juan "no arm" Pierre, but he's has batted 8th and after last yr's dismal batting performance I'm starting to wonder.



Understand this is not a defend Pierre post...as I said I have Jones on one of my teams. It is purely speculation on what the Dodgers may do.

It looks to me like a 3-man rotation for half a time-share, with the hottest two of Ethier-Kemp-Andruw playing full-time while the coldest one splits time on a week-to-week basis with Pierre until somebody gets hurt. Certainly makes counting on any of them for 6 games per week tenuous.
