Okay, so Cueto hasn't been stellar the last few times out. Maybe, just maybe, he's not the second coming of Bob Gibson. However, on a night when the world is waiting to see what that OTHER rookie pitcher can do, he's looking mighty fine thus far.

I'm starting him in all possible lges this week; still think he'll deliver more value than Scherzer despite a couple of rough games. Although I don't think he would've been bid up as high as Max if available yesterday.

Imagine removing the categories SB and K, and replacing AVG with Total Bases.

I cannot recall where, but I read Mariano Soto, who worked with him in the minors, has been working with him recently to help him regain his confidence. Looks like it worked.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

A potential gift was just handed to someone in the league....how much will be spent??
