I'll give the guy big points for moxy; he repeatedly gets bashed in the 1st inning, keeps his head in the game, and comes back putting together 4 or 5 decent innings.

Btw,moxy is actually a numerical constant sort of like pi. I believe it equals an ERA of 5.63.

He has a 11+ ERA in the first inning. His problem is simple according to the Twins pitching coach, he over throws when the game begins. He is fine warming up and when the game starts and he hits a bump in the road he just tries to throw harder and strike out the side.
