AFter Dice K's last performance (1 inning 7 Earned Runs), Will you hold off on starting him this week? Or do you start him this week and say to yourself that was just a blip, and he'll be back to normal for his next start. As an owner of Dice K, it's making me a little nervous about starting him, I'm personally think about sitting him for the week.

I'm sitting him b/c maybe he's not fully healthy or just trying to time his rhythm. Anyhow, it's not worth it right now. Let's see him walk less than 4 batters first. He's been getting away with walking too many hitters, but the law of averages might be catching up to him.

I've got him in a local league and he's sitting on my bench till he gets a quality start in first.

if you watched him pitch, you would know to bench him. he was throwing his heater at 89 mph (hit 91 once i think), had no command of any of his off speed junk, and totally lacked confidence on the mound..it was evident that something wasn't right with him. i hope he can bounce back but i would guess that the chances of that happening in his very next start is next to nothing

I took the gamble. Let's see how it works out. My other main option was Pelfry....against the Yanks...no thanks!

I started arroyo too - just couldn't resist against the lowly blue jays bats. after I saw arroyo's stats for tonight, i believe i had a mini heart attack and nearly passed out. why or why did i start him once again??!! fools gold rationalizing that I might have actually gotten 2 wins from him this week...

As for dice-k, I'm rolling with him in my satellite since it was him or glen perkins...but I'm definitely worried after hearing how bad he looked last Saturday.

hey look at the bright side- you will see many many pitching lines with .00 eras- but never again will you see one turn in an era of 90.
