That these guys would be leading MLB in Wins and have at least 10 at this point in the season: Webb (OK, this one can be predicted), Saunders, Cliff Lee, Mussina, Padilla, Volquez, and Cook?
That two second basemen would be leading MLB in HR (Uggla is luckly my starter in MAG II and Utley is my starter in the Main...why ain't I winning?) or that two players whose last name begins with "U" is leading in HR?
That Josh Hamilton and Adrian Gonzalez would be leading MLB in RBI's?
That Roy Halladay (the guy who hasn't had more than 139 K in a season since 2003) would have 100 K at the half-way point?
That a Cincinnati pitcher would have the lowest ERA in MLB (Volquez even after his napalm outing yesterday)?
Which of these guys will be in the same position at the END of the year?

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Mussina, Hamilton, and Gonzalez don't really surprise me, but that doesn't mean I expected it. Hamilton has probably a better chance of keeping it up than anyone, but Utley's performance is a good bet to continue. I have no doubt that Halladay will have at least 100 K's at the end of the year.
Volquez, Saunders, and Padilla will soon be falling off a cliff near you.
Cliff Lee is a mystery.
