Blown call in game 4 - They need replay

There are bad calls, horrible calls, and then every now and then there are calls so bad it's difficult to conceive how an umpire could possibly make such a call.



Longoria's tag of Rollins in the first inning falls into the latter category...I figured, ok, I guess a bug must have flown in his eye, forcing him to take his eyes off the action.



According to nbcsports, the umpire had this to say:



“I saw Longoria coming in and he was going for Rollins’ back on the tag. I just saw him swing and miss,” Welke said. “I never saw a tag.”



I find his statement impossible to believe. Perhaps Welke had money on the over?
