Interesting first five rounds. Nine teams have at least one first base eligable player and nine teams have shortstops. Thirteen teams have at least one outfielder and four teams have three outfielders or outfield eligable players.

Ten teams have at least one middle infielder, but two teams have both a SS and a 2B and one team has used three of the first five picks to fill out MI.

Only one team has no CM or CM eligable player, but only two teams have two CM eligable players.

Three teams have no pitchers yet. No one has more than two pitchers. Six teams have no closer (though a closer was picked as the first pick of the sixth round) and one team has two. Seven teams have no SP and one team has two.

Will Saito close - that is the question? What is he worth in a 12 team, NL, keeper, 5x5 league? I can keep him for $10 - would anyone here take the chance?

No. He may not be the closer and his previous experience in Japan wasn't as good as he was last year. What are the chances of a repeat? Also the Dodgers are expected to resign Gagne and like Broxton very much. Saito's stats from last year are excellent. His position as elite closer is suspect though. If you can wait for a clearer picture then he may prove worthy of keeping, not now though. That's all coming from someone who already admits I made a mistake taking F. Cordero with my last pick. Square peg in a round hole. Glad it's only practice.

Chest is usually reliable, but so was Spyhunter before he disapeared. The initial rule was 12 hours. He's now had almost 24. Let's say whoever wants the pick can have it. If Chest makes it great. If someone else beats him to the pick, then that's how it goes. If he's out of town he should've left some choices with someone as Edward's Kings did.
