Not wanting to be left out of the Ace Pitcher run, I'll take Scott Kazmir at 8-4

At 8-5, I'll take speedster Dave Roberts as he compliments my earlier pick of slugger Frank Thomas so well.

Spy Congratulations on the impending new addition! Here is a prayer for ten fingers, ten toes, two eyes and a nose!

Not to turn this into the best baby story blog, but my wife wanted a second child and wanted to make sure she was on maternity leave DURING the Atlanta Olympics (she worked downtown at CNN), so she did the math and gave me a "window" to successfully complete my end of the bargain.

Man...you want to take all the fun out of the proposition...get put on a strict "schedule"....

Been there. I can pretty much tell you when my kids were conceived. Strict schedule determined by my wife to maximise conception. A lot less fun that way although my son I'm pretty sure was conceived on new years eve 2000 and that went just fine. Congrats Spy. Your life will change very shortly some for the better and some not. I don't get out much anymore. That's why I post so much. There was a time when my wife and I went out every Sat. night. Not anymore.
