He seems more steady then spectacular. Im trying a modified version of strategy employed by one of successful owners last season

Hard Heads, As a reformed Kendrick-aholic (my name is Schwks and I drafted Kendrick too early in 07 and 08) I just want to know why. When does Kendrick finally gt the Weeks treatment and get drafted where he belongs as a late inning flyer?

Too talented to pass up, especially when there isn't $1300 on the line.

Re Kendrick: He had one, count em, one good month...July wherein he hit all 3 of his homers and stole half of his bases....batted in mid-300's The rest of the year, even when healthy...he was Asdrubal Cabrera. Now I understand that the one month shows potential, but 8th rd potential?

He is going to have a good year and live up to the hype. If we are going to throw questions around, how about Tulowitzki 2 rounds earlier? I won't argue with his selection, but he had a good year and then was hurt most of the year and hit .263 for the season, why so high on him? Why 7th round on Doumit? 15 HR and 70 runs and rbi is worth 7th round? Point is sometimes you take guys based on what you feel they will do and what they are worth to you, not what everyone else's percieved value is. I may have taken Ervin Santana way early as well, but what I saw in him as a young pitcher was huge upside. Kendrick can hit and when healthy hit a ton. I could see .330, 12-15 HR and 15-20 SB's, but I may be way off. To me with what had gone and what was left at 2B 8th round is worth it. But, that is one man's opinion.
