It will really depend on whether he is opening the season in Baltimore or in Norfolk. Don't get me wrong - he is a Huge talent - "Mauer with power" as one of the scouts said during the AFL - but I am not sure he is ready for the majors. The Orioles did clear out Ramon Hernandez via trade to "open the door" for him, so there wouldn't be any problem when they decided he needed to be catching for the Orioles, but that doesn't mean he starts there Opening Day.

Cool. I think the hype train was/is unavoidable on him. Dude is considered the #1 prospect in all of baseball. Snots the ball wherever he's been. And the big club just shipped off the biggest obstacle in his path to a starting job.

IF he is definitely the starting C, I think he goes higher in March.
