Online Overall Results

Greg,

I know you guys are still working things out with the overall results and linking them to the main, I just wanted to add that it looks like the Online Magazine League is being included in the totals. Stats is ranking 612 teams.

Tom/Greg, acknowledge this issue in another post and they will be taking care of the issue shortly (I believe).

Yes, this was fixed yesterday afternoon and there are now 600 teams being shown in the Online Championship. Sorry for the delay, but we had the Magazine League accidentally entered in these standings. Good luck all.

Also, we added the Combined Standings last night under the Standings Link. There are now five links under STANDINGS

Hey Greg - could you lay out the formula used for the combined ranking? I think there's some kind of adjustment being made for the online since there are more teams there, but I'm curious as to the exact formula.

Also, in the online competition where team owners have multiple entries, will you put in any kind of rule that prohibits owners from throwing stats in one of their teams to help another of their teams?

At the end of the year it's not farfetched at all to find an online team running 10th overall but trailing in RBI and an owner tanking one of his other entries to squeeze out even that 1 extra point for his 'top' team. I think you either need to accept it and say that it's ok or put in a rule banning it if you see that someone is making moves solely for that purpose.
