In my league, March 30th someone dropped Matt Lindstrom. This made me think about how random, in a way, this process is. Granted Lindstrom may be hurt, or falter, but ......

There is no doubt that closers will be cut throughout the year in the NFBC Online Championship as teams give up saves for wins and strikeouts or just feel the need to grab a different potential closer. But with 12 teams chasing 30 closers, it's a lot easier to let a closer remain in the free agent pool as teams chase different categories, unlike the 15-team format where every team is in need of two closers.

Lindstrom is the closer in Florida and he was cut in just one league last week, but we didn't pull him out of the FAAB pool and he went for $265. When you start there, then there's no end in sight. It just has to play out in that league, even this early in the year.
