Just my take on some remaining free agents...
Shane Victorino is drawing interest from all Major League teams.
And like Victorino in fantasy drafts, it's very easy to pass on him...
ARod ain't hip. Or ain't got no hips.
Ryan Braun went from the top of the draft to the second to fourth rounds when it was feared he'd miss 50 games last year.
I'm betting for a 20th round or lower pick, a drafter will have earned the right to carry ARod on his roster till ARod gets hip.
Eeesh, no thanks .....
Napoli signs with the Red Sox for three years. The Red Sox have thrown good receiving catchers out with the dirty laundry.
I think they signed David Ross, just so they can see one....
Jarrod Saltalablahblah probably moves on.
Unless traded to Texas, the White Sox, or some other good hitting venue, his homers drop to the tally of letters in his last name.
Which still may not be a bad thing....
Kyle Lohse was fantastic last year.
A non-strike out pitcher, in a big park, on a winning team in the National League.
No matter where Lohse ends up signing, it's doubtful he'll have all those ingredients back at his disposal.
Get your money while you can, Kyle.....
It's for sure that Josh Hamilton does not sign with Colorado.
Although it would be fun for us all to see him hit in Denver.
His sponsors would have a nightmare with Hamilton playing in a state that has legalized marijuana and reporting for duty at Coors Field.
Rocky Mountain High has new meaning....
Michael Bourn is a judy. Possibly, the best of the judys.
The best of the judys is like being the best pet rock.
It's hard to care.
Judys, like rocks, are everywhere and like Figgins or Pierre, or the new car I just drove off the lot, they lose value as soon as they are signed to any long length of contract....
Nick Swisher...
Have you noticed how blahse the Yankees have become?
Sometimes I wonder if between Pettitte,Jeter, Rivera, Cano, Sabathia, and ARod if there is a whole personality between them.
They aren't the Bronx Zoo, they're the Bronx ZZZ.
Without Swisher, they lose a player that is valuable to them.
A player that links them with the real world.
A player that adds life to their bench and clubhouse.
A player with a semblance of personality.
If Jeter is the heart and soul of the Yankees, Swisher is their pulse.
Without him, it's easy to see Pettitte, Rivera, Jeter, Sabathia, and ARod doing that slow fade off into the baseball sunset....
Delmon Young is a little bit fat
And Delmon Young is lazy
Fantasy compliments
And still, I'd have a hard time taking him
There is a player that is worse than the one that gets hurt....
The one you WISH would get hurt....
