Prince and 'Little Miggy'

Sometimes trades are made in baseball that leave fans wondering. The Prince Fielder for Ian Kinsler trade baffled me. A bonanza for the Rangers. For the Tigers, well, Kinsler will fill second base.
It's no secret that Fielder went through a lot of things in his personal life during 2013. So much so that Torii Hunter felt the need to defend Fielder to the press.
A divorce is tough enough for folks out of the public eye. I imagine that most folks going through one experiences a loss of productivity at work. It's no different for ball players.
As fans, we don't really have a clue what is going on. We see Fielder in a game and we see his stats, and we see under performance. That's it.

Since that trade, I've heard more rumors. Well, I guess it's more than rumors since I've heard it from two independent sources.
They collaborated that Fielder, himself, told Detroit Management that he wouldn't mind moving to another city.
This makes sense. Because to just up and trade Fielder makes little sense.
And I commend Tigers management for thinking of Fielder and his mental health more than how much they will miss his bat on the field.
The rumors did not stop there though. The cause of Prince's request.
Avisail Garcia.
It is said that he started the divorce ball rolling by bedding Mrs. Fielder.
First joke I can think of when hearing this piece of news, is that Mrs. Fielder got to see 'Little Miggy' in action.

I could understand how Detroit would hold a lot of memories that Prince would just as soon erase from his memory banks.
The place has become the genesis for his divorce. And although everything in a personal life can be set aside while playing the game, the down time would be tough to overcome.
As for Mrs. Fielder, my first thought is, WHAT A BITCH!
First she makes Prince become a vegetarian (I know you cheated, Prince), then she screws 'Little Miggy'.
Mrs. Fielder screwed Prince, and Avisail Garcia got the satisfaction.
I can't wait to see those two at first base if Garcia draws a walk or gets a single this year.
It can go anywhere from Prince uttering, "F--k you" to Prince saying, "Thank you".

Now, let's try to think about this in fantasy terms.....
Kinsler will hit at the top of the lineup. It sounds good, but he's in a tougher park and like Austin Jackson, the brakes will be applied to his running game. Kinsler will be over drafted this year.
Garcia's price point remains the same. He has broken the Golden Rule of the 'BroCode'.
But, we can't hold that against him in fantasy....still, I will never think of his nickname the same again....
Fielder is the wild card. Free from his cheating wife and the area in which it all happened, I expect two things to happen...
I expect his hitting stats to balloon.
At the same time, I expect his waist line to expand at the same rate.
Depression eating is a bitch.

And what about Mrs. Fielder?
She has started a fantasy league of her own. But she's not playing the same game we are.
She is the Yahoo Kid of her fantasy league. Her strategy is the opposite of the Giant in her industry.

Milano looked for awhile like she was going to go through every good looking guy in a Major League uniform.
Mrs. Fielder clearly, is working from the bottom up. Pun, of course, intended.
