Satellite Auction League?

I was curious if this was going to happen again this year.

If so, I have 3 people including myself interested in doing it again.

Following up on Michael's question ...

Might there be a satellite auction this year? Last year's satellite auction mostly went okay. It took longer than it should have, but I think that was due to an owner or two not testing things out beforehand. The site was great and the opportunity to do it as an auction was appreciated. I would do it again if available.

Any thoughts to piloting a 3RR satellite baseball league? I know this is more applicable to football, but it would be interesting to see how it impacts KDS. (How much do you REALLY want Pujols)?

Is it still true that in order to participate in a $650 auction during the Main Event weekend you must be in the Main Event as well? (I was just wondering what the rationale for that was).

Yes, we can do satellite auction leagues this year. Is there a Monday night before the main event that we could do this? Check the schedule and let me know if anything looks good. I'm good for this and so is www.fantasyauctioneer.com.

I'd prefer $250 and a little closer to opening day for the auction date, but I'm in regardless. Whatever the majority agrees to is fine.

I too would be interested in a sat auction league, but a limit of $250. My only problem with the Monday before Opening Day (which would be 3/26) is that I THINK that's the night of the XFL 17-Man Reserve Draft, for which I am a participant.

Interested. Willing to go $500 at least. Prefer to handle this AFTER the live events. Possibly a week PRIOR to the start of the season.

Greg’s message indicates that “we can do satellite auction leagues” (plural on the leagues, so maybe there can be more than one). Maybe we could do one BEFORE the Main Event and one AFTER? It looks like $250 is a price that most could compromise on (maybe there could be two at two different prices).

The Main Event is scheduled for Saturday, March 17. The satellites that are scheduled BEFORE the main event span the dates of Tuesday, February 20 through Sunday, March 11. If Greg is asking us to find a MONDAY within the schedule BEFORE the main event, it looks like the choices are:

Monday, February 19

Monday, February 26

Monday, March 05

The sooner the better for me, as I am eager to get going! I would like to get on a list for Monday, February 26 for $250 (but I have some flexibility) …

Feb 26 or Mar 5 seems to be the two dates that interest people.

Greg - M Litnak started this thread saying to had 4 people wanting to do this - maybe you could contact him to see which date works for his 3-entries then post a definitive date and a signup thread? Add my name to the list for either date.

I have me and two others. One of which did it last year...but those two guys did it together.

I would say the closer to the season start the better. But consider me and two other guys a firm lock-$250 is probably best, just like last year.
