Stuffy Junk....

I think that Nolan Arenado and Trevor Bauer will make the greatest impact of players coming up from the minors this year.
Besides already having a position awaiting his arrival, Arenado has a shorter swing than Bryce Harper and Mike Trout.
For THIS year, he is the hitter to have among prospects.
Bauer is more Major League ready than Shelby Miller or Jarrod Parker. Miller wasn't a thought for the Cardinals when Chris Carpenter went down. Parker will have a bigger ball park, but had a frustrating spring.
Bauer has a spot open, it's up to Diamondbacks Management to decide when.
I'm not much of a BABIP guy. I don't like any stat that takes away the hardest hit balls. My go to stat for pitchers is BAA.
So far, batters are hitting .114 vs. Matt Cain....114!
To illustrate how early in the season it is....In one night, Curtis Granderson went from an also ran player this year, to one of the best.
The Braves have scored 33 runs in their last three games.
Pittsburgh has scored 26 runs this year.....
Texas, St. Louis, and the Yankees are the only three teams in baseball with a team average over .270...
Boston is doing something right this year....They've only committed two errors...
The Giants have made 16....
So it only serves to put the spotlight on just how bad the Red Sox pitching has been....
They have a baseball worst ERA of 6.20
My condolences on rostering any Boston pitchers....
Why is Texas 11-2?
Try a 2.38 ERA and a .306 with 23 homers.....
Adam Dunn has 21 strike outs in 45 at bats...
Brent Morel has struck out 18 times, is hitting .103.....yet still sometimes hits second...
Folks tell me all the time that Tampa is THE organization for keeping pitchers healthy.
While they've done a splendid job of keeping pitchers healthy, maybe it's at the cost of a would be Championship or two.
Tampa does not like to take pitchers past pitch counts they are not comfortable with.
Yet, when they lose the BIG games, their bullpen is usually at fault.
A double edged sword.
Since the Rays have been in existence, they've only had three pitchers that have pitched more than one complete game during any season-
Matt Garza
James Shields
and.......Rolando Arrojo
Jackie Gleason almost sued Hanna Barbera for their Fred Flintstone character.
He thought it way too close to his Ralph Cramden character.
The Flintstones were a prime time hit and Freddie Flintstone was loved by all.
Gleason dropped thoughts of the lawsuit. He didn't want to be known as the guy who killed Fred Flintstone.
I play 'More Than a Feeling' by Boston almost every day.
There is no better song to play air drums and guitars with....
Red Sox-Yankees today.
More of a press thing now than a fan thing.
I'd be surprised to see either team in the series.
I still love the packed houses and the screaming and yelling at a fever pitch.
50,000 fans yelling and screaming as a baseball is hurled 95 mph in a batters direction.....
And in another place in the world, Tiger Woods is pissed that somebody clicked a camera during a swing on a stationary golf ball....'Hey, Golfer, golfer...Hey Golfer, golfer, SWING Golfer!'
A 162 game season between the Cubs and Omaha would be close.
Take Starlin Castro out of the equation, Omaha hands down....
Matt Harrison, Joe Saunders, and Jake Westbrook lead baseball with 0.64 ERA's
Screw velocity!!!
