Let's look at some stats and stuff and see if we need to visit the 'Complaints Department'.

JP Arencibia has two, count 'em, two bases on balls this year. He has struck out 34 times.
His owners ain't complaining....

Joey Votto only struck out 85 times last year.
This year, he is striking out over once a game, with 25 whiffs.
His owners ain't complaining.
In fact, they may be more miffed by his 26 walks....

Justin Upton has a world leading 11 homers.
He's batting .400 with the bases empty.
.172 with runners on.
His owners ain't complaining....

Jake Westbrooks has given up 14 walks and has eight strike outs in three games.
Yep, walking almost five per game and striking out under three.
He has the unusualness (oh shuddup spellchecker, that should be a word!) of having a higher WHIP (1.48) than ERA (1.25)
His owners are a little crazy for owning him, but they ain't complaining....

The whole world is gaga over Matt Harvey.
Talk show hosts are so busy falling over themselves in 'not expecting the breakout' while he climbed NFBC drafts by leaps and gains before the live drafts, that it makes me chuckle.
Anyway, while they're all amazed by his stuff, Clay Buchholz has re-found (dammit, spellchecker) his old stuff and with both Harvey and Buchholz starting five games, Buchholz has just as many strike outs as Harvey, 39.
Of course, owners of Buchholz or Harvey ain't complaining....

Who else is like Harvey, but not getting near the air time?
Let's pick 10....

Carlos Villanueva
Patrick Corbin
Paul Maholm
Justin Masterson
Alex Cobb
Hisashi Iwakuma
Travis Wood
Shelby Miller
Ervin Santana
Bartolo Colon

Of these 10, who would be most likely to still have great numbers in September?
My best bets would be the youngsters... Corbin, Cobb, and Miller
And speaking for all 10 of their owners....They ain't complaining....

Jake Arrieta was sent down to the Minors earlier this week
Still, he leads the Major Leagues in base on balls.
There is something karmazmic (I know, spellchecker, I know) about that.
And yes, his owners ARE complaining....

Phil Hughes has only walked four hitters in four games this year.
He hasn't won a game.
His owners ARE complaining....

If a pitcher throws a perfect game, the baseball world bows down to his greatness for a week.
Replays are shown over and over again in exhalting the feat.
If a Closer in nine appearances retires the side during the most important part of the game nine times...Nothing.
We are so programmed.
And yes, I am complaining....

A personal complaint....SCREW YOU, Emily Bonifacio!
You're on a lot of my teams.
I don't know what is worse, the fact that you can't play 2b defensively, or the fact that you can't reach it offensively.
Never mind, it's fantasy, I know which one pisses me off more.
I'd rather read Emily Dickinson than watch Emily Bonifacio play like her.
And yeah, that's complaining.

We can now toggle our teams from one to the other.
Finally!
No complaints at all in the toggle.
Love it!
The only complaint would be in how long it took to get here....

.359/20/3/17/1
Those are Adam Jones numbers...
He has drawn just two bases on balls.
Not a complaint.....

Only two players in baseball have the goods to say that they can better a 4/4 in home runs and stolen bases.
Both play for Oakland.
Both have taken different roads.
Coco Crisp has a 5/7 while hitting .296
Chris Young has a .164 batting average with a 5/4
Crisp owners ain't complaining.
Young owners are vacillating....(wow, spellchecker liked it, who knew?)

If Brendan Ryan loses his job in the forest, does it make a sound?
Ryan is owned by three percent of NFBC owners.
They're complaining.
And the Complaints Department are holding back the laughter....
