Looks like the actual quote is slightly different than my memory, but you get the point

Like Youtube has made a celebrity of that Asian 'dancer', the poem did the same for this trio.
All were good players. Tinkers and Evers would have faded into obscurity without the poem.
Chance's name would have only been recognized by the hardiest of baseball fans.

As is, all three are in the Hall of Fame.
And I have to write the damned Hall of Fame every year on behalf of Shoeless Joe and Dummy Hoy.
