Sorry In Advance- No Fantasy, Just Regular

It amazes me that celebrities have talk shows. If there is somebody I LEAST want to see talk, it is a celebrity.
The 50 'Most Beautiful People', that People Magazine features every year are all celebrities.
Weren't those people beautiful before they were celebrities?
Are there not other beautiful people?
I guess not.
We are regular people. We know that, because if we were beautiful, we'd be in a magazine. Or on tv.
The beautiful people need us. They need us to buy into their products. They need us to love them.
The NFL is celeb-woven.
They announced that since their Thursday game sucks so bad, that they want to have another Thursday game.
This is a little like asking for seconds for a food we just choked on.
But, the NFL is beautiful, so they can ask regular folks to buy into it.
The Thursday game already drives fantasy people crazy.
Early lineups, weird faab, weird waivers, weird injuries. But, that's ok. Fantasy people are regular people.
They'll adapt.
The NFL is falling into the same trap as baseball. They want to saturate every possible thing it touches.
Since they cannot have Friday or Saturday football in a ruling designed to 'save' high school and College football, it would not surprise me to see NFL games five nights a week. You laugh, but that is only two more nights.
The NFL does not care about fantasy or fear saturation.
They're beautiful.
And that is all we need to know.
I saw a headline that ran....'MLB HAS SIXTH HIGHEST ATTENDANCE IN HISTORY'
It's not a big deal.
MLB largest 10 attendance figures have come, you guessed it, during the last 10 years.
The ball parks are bigger and there are more people.
Ball parks are the most accessible than they have ever been and most of the venues are new or redecorated.
Major League Baseball is not more popular.
Baseball fans are going to come no matter what. Again, it's the regular people that MLB wants.
Regular people are bored, and what better place to be bored than at a ball game?
I doubt that MLB will use that as a slogan for next year though.
Our politicians have shut down our Government.
Yes, politicians are now celebrities, They have been for awhile.
Heck, regular people don't get fame for taking pictures of their penis. They get arrested.
Celebrities run for office. Or retire from football a lot.
While regular people grouse about the Government shutting down, every one of these politicians are getting more air time.
More air time only grows their celebrity status.
We regular people think they ought to be ashamed of themselves.
They're not.
Self-promotion comes way ahead of 'We the People'.
'We the People' didn't have a line between regular people and beautiful people when it was written.
One thing is for sure, some activists had it ass-backwards.
They thought the 'Redskins' in Washington Redskins was degrading to its people.
It's the 'Washington' part that is really degrading to its people.
