Shortstop Questions, With Few Answers

The Simmons- Aybar trade got me looking at shortstops and devising some kind of plan as to who will do well next year and who won't.
Besides Catcher, shortstops are the weakest of positions in my eyes. The depth runs deep, but when considering 'hitters' like Hechavaria, Gregorius, Rollins, and Galvis is at the bottom of that depth.
And Alcides Escobar, Alexie Ramirez, and Brandon Crawford are part of the mid-tier.
At the top are kids. Correa, Seager, and Lindor with Tulo also part of that group.
It's sparse!
I came away with more questions than answers.
Maybe you good folks can help me answer these questions...
Is Correa THAT good?
Are you as scared as I am about Tulo playing a full year on turf.
Who is Cincy's shortstop?
Lindor has not shown much power in the minors, can he, over a full MLB season?
Where would Ian Desmond flourish the most?
How soon before Jose Reyes gets flipped?
How soon before Aybar is flipped?
Was that Brandon Crawford's career year?
He hit eight homers at AT&T.That is two less homers than Brandon Belt has in his whole career there.
Are Wilmer Flores and Marcus Semien pretenders or contenders?
Is Jimmy Rollins finished?
Who is the shortstop in Minnesota?
Can Iglesias play a full year?
Why do folks keep overdrafting Elvis Andrus?
Without injury, where would Kang be drafted next year?
Jedd Gyorko?
By the way, you know when hitters get to 2-2 and 3-2 and foul off a couple of pitches, announcers automatically say
"What A Terrific At Bat!"
Don't hope for a terrific at bat from Gyorko. He hits .170 in those counts.
.340 in early 0-0, 1-0, 2-0 counts.
Will Alcides Escobar keep his leadoff spot?
Is Alexie washed up?
Is Didi Gregorius a better looking Eddie Brinkman?
Is Andrelton Simmons a better looking Mark Belanger?
Is Jhonny Peralta the last of the steady shortstops?
By asking these questions and bringing up all the shortstops, maybe you'll agree about the shortage of superior shortstops.
If using a top pick on a shortstop, we are drafting either inexperience or an injury risk.
If not, slim pickings.
