Dough, perhaps against popular opinion, I disagree.

I'm going to ask you this respectfully only because you have been so vocal on DFS. I have two questions and I'm asking this because I've been playing since 2010 and earned the right to my opinion. How much experience do you have with DFS? How much money have you risked with DFS?

I've stated this before, I have never player daily fantasy.
This was only to poke fun.
I realize that a lot of players are bi-fantasy.
It's fine.

I wouldn't say that I've been outspoken about daily. I do think it is unfair that we (the season-long game) does not have more of a voice in political circles. That the two big companies are, now, the two that most 'have heard of'.
It's too bad that fantasy, (in newbies eyes), are hanging their hat on these two companies.

As far as playing the daily game, have at it.
Some of my best friends really enjoy it.

Just as a P.S.
I listened to the original 'real men of Genius' about fantasy football players.
We have to laugh at ourselves.

I respect your honesty and the right to season-long. You are an incredible advocate for our game. I've played season long since the days of mail drafts and phone waivers. They are certainly different and I feel that the season long game should never be impacted. I would KINDLY suggest that you are not the advocate for DFS of the NFBC as there are folks far more qualified to speak intelligently about the expectations of the DFS world.

Any negativity of either/ or is counter-productive for all of us that enjoy fantasy regardless of type.

I hate to say this out loud, but FUCK DFS. I haven't played much but got into some of the $25 stuff in baseball. My friend Mr. Schroeder plays it a lot, I just never got into it. Having these folks try to ride the coat tails of what has been built here is understandable to a degree, at this point it's deplorable in my book.

I withdrew the $88 dollars I had on account with Fanduel when the intrusion into my life came with the onslaught of asinine commercials. I hate the fact that the NFFC continues to support the company and do not understand it. I would post this on the NFFC site as they attempt to get one more player into their game next year by supporting a joint venture but I choose not to influence any players that they are trying to attract. I say (NFFC/NFBC) bullshit, walk away, they have walked away from you and you built it.

You have zero experience in the DFS game. Yes, I'm serious. I don't want you being the spokesperson for something that I've been involved with for years and you haven't had the first experience with. Sorry, but yes I'm serious.

Sit on the sidelines and let the first teamers speak for themselves.
In a word.
NO
I am not an advocate. Just an opinion.
You cannot tell me what to write.

No doubt Chad was the man. I'm perfectly fine with my record the previous years that will stand up against 99% of all high stakes players. It's a public record go look it up, I don't need to beat my own drum. ROI my friend ROI, mine has been quite significant for quite awhile.

ROI for you means Return On Illusion. You are beating something and with good reason. Really, just enjoy it.

Dough, if you have a thread and people want to put you in the HOF for it, I can say whatever I want. You have no business creating an opinion on the DFS world seeing you have no experience. What am I missing?

It's a pubic record, please learn how to post. I'm done here, go ahead and have the last word.

I am not in the DFS world. This thread was a parody.
Sorry you took it seriously.

Sorry that I was so sensitive to the topic. The most frustrating part for me has been some of the public opinion and/ or inaccuracies from many that have not invested the time to truly understand it. Right, wrong or indifferent, you have a right to your opinion and I should respect that. I need to do a better job of channeling that frustration in a more positive way. I know that your heart is always in the right place when it comes to our games.

We all know there is some level of skill involved with DFS. IMO DFS is closer to sports betting (betting on professional teams and horse racing) than season long fantasy sports
