Carlos Carrasco has a mild hamstring pull.
That is the same day prognosis.
Tomorrow, he has an MRI.
This is along the lines of a husband having chest pains, looking it up online, and deciding that it;s just gas.
The next day, hospitalized with a heart attack.
We get the drill this year!
Same day= Mild News
Next day= Real News

I had to be at the ball park today.
That means that I keep up with scores while there, then look at box scores when getting home.
In that sense, you'll know what I mean here...
I look at the bottom of the Rays box hurriedly, and see that Kiermaier had a 4/2/2/3....then realize it was Souza.
Still, in my mind, I almost had a 4/2/2/3 line

I don't think Miggy is the same at all.
I do believe that he will begin hitting for an average.
But, if I had to compare him to either Jose Abreu or Joe Mauer in terms of stats for the coming years...
It'd be Mauer

Is there anything worse than seeing your starting pitcher get bombed in the first inning?
We're torn.
Part of us says, "GET HIM THE HELL OUTTA THERE!" to the Manager.
Another part says, "Well, if he can hang in there and put up some good innings, you never know..."
Most of the time, it is like being stabbed, only to have EMT's arrive and administer paper cuts

Toronto has only scored seven runs, three times this season. Only had 10 hits or more four times.
They don't look as dominant.
Tulo hitting .179
Put him back at leadoff.
Saunders and Carrera do ok there, but don't scare the bejeezus out of you.

Who would you rather have on your fantasy team....Eduardo Nunez or Byron Buxton?
Yeah, me too.
There is a certain kinda look that a rookie shows when he knows he belongs.
Buxton hasn't got the look yet

Aviles and Romine playing instead of Miggy and Upton today...
That's like going to a Springsteen concert only to see Milli Vanilli

Brad Brach was at the top of every pitching queue in faab.
That should tell you the quality of pitchers available

Trevor Story is 2 for his last 20. Seven k's. Mostly at home.
Well, that was fun while it lasted

Who has a better chance of returning good stats in September...
Mat Latos or Jeanmar Gomez?
Two good looking mutts at the Westminster Kennel Show....

Remember when folks thought that Jake McGee threw hard enough to escape Coors blowups?
Good times.....

Lots of folks are amazed at Carlos Correa's age.
Did you know that Jose Altuve is only four years older?

Correa has gone 15 games without either a hr or sb.
This, after two games with three homers and two sb's...

Jerad Eickhoff pitched like he read his thread .....

Scott Feldman gives every kid in America hope that they too can someday be a Major League pitcher...

If having a long career, Yasmani Tomas has a chance at looking like Bartolo Colon......

The Cardinals are like 'Wheel of Fortune'
Every year....money

Remember when Chase Headley was relevant?....

If Matt Cain and Jake Peavy had a pissing contest, I don't think we'd need statcaster....

David kicking Goliath's ass....
David Wright making the World Series...
David Price making millions and millions for the next umpteen years...
All great, but David Ross has to be enjoying life as much, if not more....
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!
