Two- Game or not Two-Game, That is the Question

Your best girl is going out on a picnic with a rival boy.
Would you use a swarm of ants at your control or two bees to ruin their plans?
We like the thought of a 'swarm'. A swarm has less chance of missing, although the bees are more prepared for picnic warfare and mischief.
Basically, this is our choice for lineups MON-THUR, when having players with four games and two games.
Sometimes the decision is easy, when our favored players are playing the four games.
When it is our top players who are playing the two games, the decision gets a little dicey.

There is one element to fantasy baseball that keeps us on a level field.
That element is that no matter how much we study, or whether we use sabermetrics or not, or favor one stat over another, that element is that NONE of us really knows what is going to happen.
We like to say we do, but we don't.
That manifests itself when having this conundrum with our lineups.
More often than not, we will choose the player with the four games over the slightly favored player and his two games.
If the player with two games has a weeks worth of stats in those two games, we know that we made the decision based on more chances of the four game player doing the same.

This week, Red Sox and Giants players had the two game set. No owner came away from that series ultra-dissapointed if benching a player from the series.
Heck, the hardest decision in the series may have been with a pitcher.
Santiago Casilla is on the ropes as far as his job is concerned and his owners had to think twice about a 5-game week vs. stiff competition or to go with another hurler.
The problem being that Saves are one of the four sacred categories among NFBC owners.
We do not like giving away Wins, Saves, Home Runs, or Stolen Bases.
When those categories are seen on our bench, it hurts your eyes as much as any politician hurts our ears.

For us, the two-game series is a pain in the ass.
It guarantees that our pitchers on those teams will not have a two-start week.
It lowers at bat totals.
It limits Save ops.
It makes Monday and Thursday less interesting.
It makes us as frustrated as seeing our best girl going out on a picnic with our rival.

Option 3 - Surreptitiously slip a booger on both their sandwiches, then snake the former "best girl's" best girlfriend (after washing your hands).
