'A.J. Pollock said Tuesday that his left groin injury is "more of a cramp than anything" and that he feels "great."

The mere fact Pollock has to say he 'feels 'great' is like us going to work with the flu.
We feel like shit, but we want paid, so we say we "feel great".

'Said Kipnis. "I was starting to be pain free. It was just the side effects of it - there was some other stuff going on not related to baseball movements, like everyday movements that were triggering a pain in the shoulder."

Jason, you can hire a girl to do that for you.

'Rickie Weeks homered, doubled and drove in three runs in helping a Rays split-squad beat the Yankees 10-6 on Tuesday.'

If Spring Training were the real season, Rickie Weeks- Hall of Fame

'Mallex Smith went 0-for-3 on Tuesday and is 2-for-13 since recovering from a strained oblique.'

Mallex ? Mai I introduce you to the fella rthat said "Speed Never Slumps"
Speed Never Slumps, meet Mallex Smith."

'Matt Boyd blanked the Marlins for five innings, striking out five, in the Tigers' 7-1 victory Tuesday.
The Tigers wanted Anibal Sanchez and Mike Pelfrey to step up this spring and justify their lofty salaries, but since that's not happening, Boyd looks like the clear favorite to function as the team's fifth starter now. He lowered his spring ERA from 6.75 to 3.86 with this one.

"Hey Honey? Try starting the two lemons in the driveway before using the good car, ok?"

And Finally.....

'According to Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News, two Mets sources admitted that they are not thrilled with Jeurys Familia's usage for the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic.

"Pot meet Kettle. Kettle, Pot."

In Puerto Rico's win over the Dominican Republic, Yadier Molina gunned down Nelson Cruz trying to steal to end the eighth inning. It was the first loss the Dominican Republic had suffered in the WBC since 2009.

OK...OK..."Molina gunned down" makes sense. Great catcher.

"Nelson Cruz trying to steal"...weird, but he did steal two bases last year (I always assumed the two stolen bases was because of something like somebodies cute wife breast popped out of their tanktop reaching for a corndog and the catcher was distracted). Still you wonder if Cruz got the third-base coach's sign wrong.

But Molina having to "gun down" Nelson Cruz? Probably threw it to second base underhanded.

Pedro Alvarez is making his professional debut in right field and batting cleanup for the Orioles in a B game on Friday.
It will be the first time in his career that the slugger has played the outfield, so it should be fun to watch. Fantasy owners hope that he can at least be playable out there, as it's the likeliest way for him to surpass the 376 plate appearances he accrued in 2016.

Pedro in the outfield. Might be...well a bit weird in a comical sort of way and slightly disturbing...

Maybe he has the moves...

I just kinda doubt it....
