Thad, He Took Baseball Away

I miss it already.
Baseball.
Damn.
And you know what the Hell of it is?
I can't blame somebody in a human form.
It's the unknown. A virus. A form that leaps from person to person without being seen.
Some folks criticize our leaders. They've been doing it for years.
"Shooter kills 15"...Damn Trump
"Virus kills thousands"...Damn Trump
"Dan gets turned down by pretty girl"...Damn Nixon

It's what we do. We personify everything. We have to blame another human.
After all, some person has to be responsible for every problem. It's the way we cope.
There is a joke that I know that I save for the worst of people.
I've never 'hated' another person.
When having a strong dislike for somebody, I avoid them.
I thought about the joke when a softball player I knew was arrested for being a pedophile.
I also thought about it for a person who killed a friend of mine.
And now that this stupid virus has taken away baseball, I think about it again.

Here it goes and I'll personalize this virus by calling him Thad...

A Hindu, a Rabbi, and unlikable Thad are on a long car ride. Their car breaks down in the dark.
They walk down a long country road and come upon a farm.
Knocking on the door, they say they're sorry for waking up the farmer, but would he have a place for them to bed down for the night.
The farmer tells the three men that he has just two spare cots and that somebody would have to sleep in the barn.
The Hindu man saves the trouble of conversation and volunteers for the barn.
Five minutes later, he is knocking on the door.
"I can't sleep in the barn, there is a cow in the barn, it would be against my beliefs."
So the Rabbi goes out to the barn and five minutes later, he knocks on the front door.
"I cannot sleep in the barn. There is a pig. It is against my religion to sleep in the same space as a pig."
So, unlikable Thad goes out to sleep in the barn.
Five minutes later, there is a knock at the farmer's door.
It is the cow and pig.

I feel you cow and pig.
Man, I hate Thad. He took away baseball from us.
Trump didn't do it.
China didn't do it.
Rob Manfred didn't do it.
It was Thad.
You're a bastard, unlikable Thad.
