I'm old.
For you younger folks, stuff happens when getting old.
You get crabbier.
You have less patience.
It's easier to tell somebody to "Go to Hell" than disagree.

I like writing here. I feel no need to explain fantasy baseball. You guys know as much as I do.
There is no doubt in my mind that the best fantasy baseball players in the world are reading these very words.
Sometimes though, shit happens.
A few weeks ago, Greg criticized his customers for not emailing him.
I took exception to that and let Greg know.
Greg then criticized me.
I could have said, "Go to Hell", ...but didn't know whether to say it here on the Message Boards or email him. :|
I didn't say it at all.
Instead, I just decided to close up shop. Closed For the Season.
My Mom taught me if I couldn't say something nice about somebody, say nothing at all.
So I did.
'Nuff said about that.
I appreciate the space to write.

.........................................................................................................................................................

Sometimes it's better to forget things.....Some things in the NFBC, we can never forget....Here's one for me...

This drafting season, I was in an especially tough draft.
There were three Overall Main Event winners and 30 Main Event League titles from the participants.
Hundreds of titles between these great drafters.
There was also one player who had never won a Main Event title.
Or even an NFBC title at all.
His name is Zachary Waxman.
You may also know him as the NFBC Podcaster who interviews Mike the Mouth and others.
As the old saying goes, some fantasy players win league titles, others just talk about them. :D

I'm thinking Zach is probably a nice fella.
He comes across that way in his podcast in being MTM's foil.
But it was certain that he could not read a room.
As said before, these drafters were all sharks.
Each using this as a step to the Main Event and other larger events.
It was Mr. Waxman's turn to draft and he selected a player.
Then, in chat, he had buyers remorse.
He lets everybody know that he wishes he had picked another player.
So I typed in chat, "Who do you wish you had?"
"I can't tell you guys, I may draft against you guys later!"
I almost did a spit take of my Diet Dr. Pepper.
Here are 14 sharks with hundreds of league title belts watching the words of a virtual snot-nosed kid worried about 'his' player being taken in a later draft.
It provided me with comic relief for a very long time and was the funniest moment of all the drafts I did this year. Although, not intended to be.
Which of course, makes it funnier.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!
