New York NFBC League 7
I'll start this off.
I'm driving up from Vienna Virginia on Friday morning and am staying at the Hilton. My 29-year old son will be with me helping at the draft. I will probably have a Washington Nationals hat on or one that says 'viper" not sure which.
I occassionally write for CREATiVESPORTS and will probably want everyone's e-mail - you can get your name on the net at a fantasy site. Right now I am writing a once-a-month column specifically on the NFBC along with the three other CS-type guys playing in the NFBC. No, I am not an expert but I do play a lot of leagues including some ESPN Uber Wars leagues - for those of you that know what I am talking about. I write for fun and don't get any money but I do get a perk here and there because of it.
Oh yes, I will probably post a lot on the main NFBC board. I was in NY4 along with Jeff Dobies last year. My team then was "Go the Distance" but this season I chose a more topical team name - "Cream & Clear".

My first year in. Viper - the CreativeSports site and specifically the NFBC section was a great read for us newbies. I've drawn the dreaded number one pick. I'll be making my pick and then go into react mode. My vote for best draft spot was the number 6 slot.
Team name always stays the same for football or baseball - "Prospectors."
No co-manager - I need my elbow room.

New York NFBC League 7
My quick count showed that our league has six first-timers and no returning league champions. We do have an league 2nd place finisher - he was edged out by some guy named Artie Rastelli.
By the way, my name is Mike Ladd.

RICHIE SEXSON!!!!!!
Damn - got home in time to watch both of Richie's bombs - one pick away and it still hurts.
Richie will lead the AL in HR's this year. Scary steroid-free 55+ HR power.
No Sexson for my numbers but I'm blessed with Braden Looper's ERA of infinity.
