Good Luck Mike. Good luck to all AND I'm glad "no balls, no babies" is NOT in Chi 3.

Great time - had much fun. Hope you all have a safe trip home. It was nice to meet many you and for those that I didn't get to meet personally I'm Gary (Sheep on the Message Board) I was wearing the all-star jersey and drafted in the 12 spot. Crawford/Upton start.

I'm painting the target on headhunters who drafted in 14 spot and started with Santana/Ortiz. Nice team Mike.

great meeting all of you. congtats to george kleemen- who became a grandfather.naming it frank thomas kleeman i am sure. if he wins- nickname him prince. i want to say now that hamilton should have been my 8th round pick- i hate juan pierre and bourne should have been 10- leaving ugla on the board and taking kelly johnson at 11. i am sure we all have a few regrets- those are mine. todd nord- excellent player and tuff to have after me on the turn. good luck to all.

Members of Chi 3 – I did a little number crunching with the ADP report and where we drafted in our league. I only used the first 20 rounds and compared were the player was taken vs ADP for all 30 NFBC $1,300 or larger events. Only seventeen players were taken at their ADP. The team with the best draft vs ADP was Cheap Seat Chuggers at 196 plus. The Chuggers are currently in 14th place. The Chuggers best deal +60 was CJ Wilson, that was taken in the 20th round with pick 286 a full four rounds after his average draft position. The Chuggers earliest pick vs ADP was Johjima 16 picks before ADP. There are three other teams that were 100+ ahead of ADP though 20 rounds and they are in first, second and fifth places, currently. The Blind Dogs (+109) are lead by Scott Rolen at +70, and had a big plus ADP of 15 in the fifth round with Papelbon. Rudd (+128) did well with a plus 14 with Manny in the fourth, along with a plus 24 with Hamilton, and two over two rounds after ADP in S. Drew and R Hernandez. Kellysjudys (+155) had seven double digit deals, including both catchers.

UnderDOG (-286) had the largest minus with a -100 taking Benoit well before his ADP. Hitsquad (-221) took Howry in the sixteenth, 91 spots ahead of ADP.

Mantua Maulers (-77) got a +87 to lead Chi3 with Jeff Kent in the ninteenth.

Based on percentages SlackerBrothers (-35) got Dye 28%+ after his 105 ADP & Abrue 30%+ after his 39 ADP.

Holiday (Paulie’s Walnuts -131) was 3 spots after his ADP of 5, and SlackerBrothers also got Hanley with the fifth pick vs his ADP of third overall.

On the early side Visigoths Ire (-340) took Rollins second (earliest of any draft) four spots before his ADP. Visigoths Ire also took Andy Jones 50 ahead of ADP. El Guapo (-281) took Braun at 4 (again his earliest) five places ahead of ADP. Stargells stars (-20) took injuried Granderson 35% early at 20 vs 27 ADP.

SP were interesting as HITMAN (+38) got a +7 deal on Peavy at the second/third round turn and came back with Bedard –10, which cause the next five SP ADP’s to go early. By the end of a ten SP run in round 6, and after, SP where going early vs ADP. Which lead to ADP deals in round nine for the Masters (R. Hill) and kellysjudys (Gallardo) of mid-20’s. Doubt the Masters (-24) are thinking Hill was a deal today. After that there were only nine other SP were taken after ADP vs 36 before.

Closers were a deal early with the top four going 9.25 after ADP on average. From pick 8.12 to 9.12 – 10 closers came off the board with ADP’s varying from 98 to 147, a couple over a round early and three over a round after ADP.

Sincerely yours,

Top of the Third (+91)

thanks sheep. nice work. funny- the guys leading blind dogs were the guys they got early- or close to value and their better "values" are either not playing- or somewhat underperforming. i can already tell everyone the worst fa pickup- the 188 i got moylon for!
