Tracthman, Erickson, O'Connor and Jensted, together again! Looks like LV9 from 2008. I'm just glad not to have to fight it out with you three again.

Best of luck.

I was about to mention that we're getting the band back together, but Buster beat me to it. He didn't mention that he won our league last year, though. So we're glad you got kicked out! (Oh, yeah, no Vinnie's Team either)

I have the 2nd seat. I will be listening carefully to Fantasy Focus on the internet. The show is just as good as it was on XM.

Hi, fellow League Mates:

As a rookie NFBC member, I'd be interested in knowing who we have in our league. The only name I recognize from the list is Jeff Erickson, because of his radio show. I listen every day (but one day late). I download on my I-pod and listen the next day at lunch in my car. Maybe I should get a life....I have been doing fantasy baseball at the local level for 20 years in an AL only league, and can't wait to take my lumps from you experts. I'm off to Vegas in 3 hours, and will do my preparing by the pool for the next week....and Jeff, I'll keep listening, so drop a few nuggets next week if you don't mind....since I draft 4th, maybe you first 3 guys can post your picks here early, so I can prepare.....

Attie, welcome to the NFBC. u will love it. Especially Saturday. I will be sitting 2 seats to your left. I will either take Ramirez Reyes Wright or Pujols. Just being funny but I dont know who i will take as we just got our spots and now i can work on it. It also depends on the number one team obviously. Going by anything published, you will probably get Wright or Pujols.

Attie,

Welcome to the fray. Watch out for the team to your left - check out where Lowell stands in the all-time earnings.

Hey guys, we are sitting right between the two of you at 3. We too will be taking one of those "top" 4 guys. We are still going back and forth. No matter what, like has been overly talked about on these boards, I think most teams would like to be where we are sitting no matter who we end up with, that is until of course Reyes pulls a hammy, Albert's elbow gives way or Wright trips on a step he is not familiar with at the new stadium.

This is our 3rd season in the NFBC and we echo most people's sentiments, this is the best league we have been a part of, family and friends think we are crazy, I mean who travels to Vegas form NY and AZ respectively with wives and young children to participate in a fantasy baseball league, I guess we all do.

As Jeff noted, we have had some mild success but nothing more or less than anyone else. It is not like we are affiliated with any nationally run magazine, website or have our own radio talk show. I tried the whole radio thing but my six year old got real bored, real fast and just wanted to watch The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, which is real good show by the way.

Richie, we have beeen in a couple of auctions with you the last two years, I think I actually sat next to your partner Gordon two years ago, a real nice guy. Have fun here in AZ, the weather has been great, perfect for some spring training games.

Anyhow, getting real excited, looking forward to Vegas and meeting some of the competition. Good luck this season.

My last choice in KDS, the most ridiculous league I've ever looked at...

This does not bode well.

Of course, so long as the 'Noles beat Wisconsin on Friday I'll be in good spirits.

My girls are 4 and 2, so we haven't quite made it to The Suite Life just yet - we're still in the Olivia and Backyardigans phase, though they've just entered the "High School Musical" zone ....

What a good time to enter the High School Musical stage, as it is winding down. We just had a High School Musical themed birthday party in November. Who needs baseball when you can talk HSM? With the first pick in the High School Musical fantasy draft the Wildcats select Zeke . . . priceless.

I don't think I actually know anyone in this league, but this is my 4th season in the NFBC and as usual I am really looking forward to the draft.

I got pick 14 which was my 12th choice. Not real excited about it, but I suspect we all feel like we can win from anywhere.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and hopefully making some new friends. It seems we have quite a few owners residing in California. I am new to California having relocated here 14 months ago. I am currently in Los Angeles, but am moving to Riverside in 4 weeks.

Appears to be a pretty tough league from the draft Saturday. Good luck to everyone, can't wait for the season to start. Great to see everyone from last year's league and meet some new opponents.

We too had a great time this weekend, I think I need a vacation after three grueling days of drafting. A lot of real nice people in this league, got to sit next to Richie/Charles and Attie, lots of fun listening to Richie and Charles as a native New Yorker now living in AZ, felt like I was back home. Anyhow, hope everyone is happy with their team. Here's to the 100K winner coming out of LV6! Good luck to the players.

Manny? Say it ain't so.....That's a big hit for Oaktown....now our draft is going to tighten up even more.....I think we have a good competitive league....I'm still trying to rebound in ERA from the mess I dug myself into by not pulling my Wang earlier...thank God for Santana and Haren....my WHIP has recovered but the ERA still needs work.
