Nelson - Numero uno.... Sweet spot.
OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

Hey guys, my name is David Anthony. I helped facilitate yer draft (called out names/timer). I thought Andy & I did a decent job, but more importantly I hope y'all felt that way.
I saw some talk elsewhere on the MB about how a facilitator runs a draft (speed/funny banter w/ drafters, etc)....while I like to think of myself as a guy w/ a good sense of humor, my focus was on not making mistakes and being fair & consistent....not trying to be George Carlin
I also thought it was better to get close an try to say each pick at a lower tone. If I'd been drafting I thought it would drive me nuts if I was holding out on a "sleeper" and then everyone hears his name announced from the other side of the room!
Anyway I really enjoyed myself and feel the experience will help me to someday sit at the table w/ you gentlemen.
You guys were great. I'll be watching. My brother & good friend were also in AC that day (Leagues 1 & 2)....if one of them isn't the overall winner, I hope one of you fellas is holding that huge check w/ a big ol' Lindysized grin on yer face

David,
You guys did a great job and draft went very smooth. I had read some of the comments on other leagues rushing through the draft, but the pace for our draft was perfect. Job well done, thanks!

Thank you Randy. You threw me when you passed at one point in the draft. Tom hadn't told me about that possibility...glad you could tell me (the guy "running" the draft) what to do!
Eddie, it was a pleasure meeting you & Dom. You have always been a welcoming voice to newcomers here and I for one appreciate it.
