Re: Chicago April 3 Auction
russ- what a weekend! On Friday you can nominate bryant for about $40 and maybe win him right off the bat. Then on Saturday- i don't think there are any HUGE cub fans between the 1st pick and you at #7 ( vander is on of those "oh i like both teams" people that all real fans just want to strangle)- so bryant should be yours at pick 7! i have him for 145 games 53 homers 220 combined runs and rbi and he even steals 10.

Re: Chicago April 3 Auction
As a general rule, I don't pay for minor league players like Bryant in an auction, I don't think most other players do either. I think I'll just pick him up with the first pick in the supplemental draftheadhunters wrote:russ- what a weekend! On Friday you can nominate bryant for about $40 and maybe win him right off the bat. As for whom I will nominate as the first player in the auction, I haven't really thought about it.
Maybe I should go Trout, it will be the only time all spring that I get to call out his name

Or I could go Abreu, then you will know right away how much money you will have for the rest of the draft.
Maybe I'll try to sneak my $1 catcher through.
I'm open to any suggestions...............
