Chicago NFBC League #1

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Mar 15, 2004 5:01 am

Here is the draft order for Chicago NFBC League #1. I did not list your hometown as a courtesy to everyone, but feel free to do that within this thread and get to know each other. Several people will be at the Friday night Welcome Reception, so you'll get a chance to meet them first-hand as early as March 19th. Good luck everyone and trust me, all of the draft positions, are winners:

CHICAGO LEAGUE #1:

1. Tony Silvia (Troy Agler)

2. David Bowen (Scott Jordan)

3. Aaron Seefeldt

4. Gerry Scotto di Marco

5. Shawn Lechner (Chris Litsey)

6. Phillip McDonald

7. Christopher Hyden

8. Jeff Howard

9. Ryan Zeid (Jerry Sloan)

10. Carl Mische

11. Win Murray

12. Frank Perez (Jeff Husserl)

13. Steve Glover (Tyler Burgess)

14. Vern Newman

15. Craig Neustadt (Glen Brown)

If you still want to bring a partner to the draft, you can do so by adding that person the day of the event at Registration. Good luck everyone.

Also it should read:

14. Vern Neumann (Newman on the post) and Jacob Wallendal as the partner.

Watch out boys, I think Gerry is a tout for roto rank. Chicago also has a tout wars player (Dave Gawron).

Prepare? I just pick up a USA today and check the spring training box scores. Thats what counts most isn't it. I hate to tip my hand but if AROD slips to number five, I think I will take him. ;)

Nice drafting guys! It was a lot of fun. That league#2 looked a lot easier than ours.

Tenman, I agree, but it sure was great fun. Good luck during the season. Do you still love your team the day after?

I am sure we have 15 guys that think they are gonna win, well 14 anyway, lol. I got a team I can work with and I can`t ask for much more than that. How about you?

I like our team, but we have areas we could be better in. Our team is listed in general discussion area.

Chicago League 1 -

I just noticed that on our (Team 11) roster we are listed with Andy Marte instead of Damaso Marte. Given that we had the right sticker on the draft board in Chicago I'm assuming this was simply a keying error by the STATS team and have notified Greg Ambrosius and the NFBC folks.

I didn't want there to be any confusion as to the fact that we have Damaso Marte already rostered as everyone prepares for the first FA acquisition period.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info CubFanBudMan. I thought D. Marte was taken, and could not believe it when I saw him on the FA list. I thought you had a hot tip on Marte in Atlanta.

I am very sure that you drafted Andy Marte ;) So when can I bid on Demaso? Just kidding I'm pretty positive you didnt draft Andy Marte in the 11th or 12th round. Was hoping it would go unnoticed though. :D

Thank God!

I knew he was drafted as did my drunk partner. Our other partner was up in arms that we let him go through the draft even tho the 2 of us swore he was taken.

Thanks for spekaing up and clearing the air.
