12th in the NFBC and 13th in the WCOFB :(

Oh well, at least I won't have to prepare for two different position strategies :D

What's really a pisser is I had 12th last year in the WCOFB.

Hey Leaderboard, Are there any other Leaderboard Sports guys in our league? I'm trying to guage the overall strength and participation of our league, and I know you Leaderboard guys are probably amongst most active.

This is gonna be a blast. Glad to have you in the league!

This is gonna be a blast. Glad to have you in the league! James Hofstetter at #4... Matt Berry is from roto-something.com. Sorry, Matt - can't remember which site but I do recognize your name and didn't want to mis-apply you to the wrong one!

I recognize Gene McCaffery from Wise Guys. Played in the same league with him last year in the WCOFB. Jim Hoffstetter is a Leaderboard guy, he'll be out all night at the strip clubs on Friday so no problem there. ;)

TBill's Desert Scorn is very happy to acknowledge it's good fortune in securing the #1 draft selection. We hereby wish to take back half the nasty things we said about Greg and T.S. (Okay two thirds then!) Seriously, good luck guys, this should be great fun.

Ken (Leaderboard Sports) We'll be fine with 12, jimwiz at #4 will leave us some scraps. The good news is that we're not in a league with Hojin and the bad news is that we're not in a league with Dyv. ;)

See you guys in Vegas! Number 11 is going to be a tough one to figure out what scraps slip by. Have you guys ever heard of this new guy in pinstripes...I think his name is Rodriguez...I may be out on a limb, but I think he could be a good one...wonder if he is worth a first round pick....

Guys,

It was nice meeting all of you this weekend. I think we are going to have one of the tougher leagues given how prepared everyone was and looking at the teams everyone drafted. Sorry about tossing out names twice that had already been taken. With only a minute per pick it was tough to keep up with my draft lists and the noise from the league right behind us kind of had me confused a time or ten. Anyway, I had fun and hope you all did as well. The draft is always my favorite part.

Wayne :D

Wayne, Thanks, I agree. It was nice meeting you as well. I think you did a nice job assembling a team in spite of the confusion.
