I have Your starting pitchers at:

82wins...75saves...3.85era...1.26whip and 985k's

I know you are expecting a lot out of Sosa, but his numbers will decline this year. And crashing into walls/age will reduce Edmonds #s as well.Berkman coming back off a torn ACL will be very carefull sb's will be down.Sexson is now in a poor hr pk for righties...so don't pay NO attention to those little dingers in Spring

Roberts...well he is 32...watch that groin & hammy this year! :D Team 15 here!! Still in Vegas and plenty to drink with a super hot night at the craps table and with the bookie! So what the hell !!!! Lets Bet!!!!!

I blew i at the draft! I also lost Borowski. But, just to make this season fun...I will wager any owner $100 that my team will beat your team!!!!

Wire2Wire, you or any other owner, I will bet that I will finish ahead of you.

I will be more than happy to send the money to Greg so that he can hold it!

Put up or shut up!

Team 15, who wants a piece of me??? :)

Hey Jim, Still in Vegas and I'm feeling your luck on the Crap table. I love Craps! :D

Now about this wager & your team...

Are you sure about this? I don't want to take advantage of your intoxication.

I'm looking at your team...

Thome(hrs steadily falling the last 3 years)

Doug Mirabelli? Choi? Are you kidding?

I will say I am a big fan of Glaus & A Ramirez will be a stud in this contract year.I think Everett will help your numbers. Eaton will do fine at Petco!

Cameron sb's are nice but his avg. is KILLER! Borowski is already on your DL...

Well hey...if you are of sound mind and body. I am all for that bet. Just let me know ;)

Wire2Wire and any other owner Hey Jim, If you're still interested once sober and you get out of Vegas with your bankroll intact - you're on, just say the word - we could settle up at the football draft if I have a big enough lead by then

A. Otsuka/W.Alvarez/B.McCarthy Ran my numbers W2W; should be good for around 5th place. Good pwr/spd balance, but a little light on R/RBI production. Staff looks OK but one closer costs you there.

Roberts...well he is 32...watch that groin & hammy this year! :D Now seriously - EVERY one of my offensive players will do WORSE than they have done in the past?

For example, Suzuki will hit 50 points lower than last year? Sosa will hit LESS HR than he did in 120 games, though he is healthy and wants revenge? Ausmus will hit 2 HR - now I am not saying he is great, but 2???? This basically states that EVERY ONE of my players including LaRoche who hit ~14 HR in only ~300 ab last year has 0 upside. Do you really truly believe that?

Spy Spy, perhaps you could name your team "LaRoche & the Past Their Prime Club" lol, OK I have the day off, I'm bored and still impatiently waiting to see how everyone's team looks. If I don't see the teams soon I'm fairly certain I'll start talking fantasy baseball with my three dogs.

Kevin,

If you want the rosters for LV #6, I have it in a file. I can e-mail if you want, just not 100% sure if it is all accurate.

So is everyone in this league happy with their roster set-up? i.e. Were there any mistakes?

Hey guys, thanks to Rototitan for shooting me the draft earlier today I was able to run a full league analysis on my numbers. If anyone cares ...

A few surprises, to me anyway. The #6 double-punt strategy looks like its gonna work, at least to get them into the legaue money. Forecast bias of course puts me on top, so my #1 rank really doesn't mean much, but for everyone else, an independent appraisal assuming no catastrophic injuries ...

Seems to me, that everyone has their own projections, and their projections show they are the top team or near the top. At least I would hope that each owners projections show this, or you really screwed up your draft. I think in the end, someone's projections will be better than the next, but historically, I have never seen any one publication be right 100% of the time. If it did, then we would all be using that publication.

For what it is worth, team 6 and team 14 deployed similar strategies on the hitting side. I knew who they were going to take for the most part and they anticipated our moves. We only differed in our pitching strategy. They punted 2 categories, and we wanted to try and get points in all categories. We'll see who comes out on top, but based on our projected stats, I have them rated #1 and us #2. At least I know what they will be looking for in FAAB, so maybe a little more gamesmenship is still to be played out here. ;)

Good Luck to all in LV League 6, but best of luck to US :D . See you at the winner's circle.

Spy/Zefurs and league 6...

The numbers in my projections for our league are

as SPY has mentioned VERY CONSERVAtIVE.

ALL THE PLAYERS ARE on the conservative side of their 04/3yr actuals. So the good news is we should all see slightly better numbers. This would not change your rankings though ;)

Good Luck to All in lg 6, and we hope to see great competition this year.

Ferrari... Did you take me up on our wager?

Well,

Since RT and I are the consensus underdog, I want odds on any bets ;)

It is kind of funny - reading the projects like they were science but that is ok, we don't have any real baseball to keep us busy!

I will put out an open call for side bets - who wants a part of me? Put your $$$ where your mouth is
