Thanks for running the numbers, Spy. While I am happy with the results, I understand that they must be taken with an extremely large grain of salt.

These two weeks between NFBC Draft Weekend and Opening Day are terrible -- April 1 can't get here soon enough! KOQ the analysis I did had your Ibanez pick as the best value pick of the entire 28 drafts- congrats on that one.
[/QUOTE]Chest, what was your methodology for identifying this? I don't disagree with your pick, I am curious as I did a similar analysis and my approach was the largest ADP gap for someone with an ADP of 100 or less. Obviously this is pretty arbitrary, but I can't figure out a for sure way as the largest ADP gaps were for people like Scott Linecum.

100 seems arbitrary -- maybe use the Top 150 ADPs in your analysis, as that is the consensus first 10 rounds.

Another thing I like to look at is how many of the Top 150 were rostered by each team.

C'mon Spy, quit slacking and get to work :D

If Cantu is REALLY going to triple AAA, ouch!! That totally sucks for RT and my team :(

Well, if Eckstein can keep it going, we may not be so sad about having to start him after all!

Great pickup of Theriot today -- I wanted him as a one week fill-in for Furcal, but he has more potential than any middle infielder in our pool. If he plays, you're looking at some serious SB numbers.

Thanks, we were pretty psyched to get him for 32. It made us feel better about our bidding that we got him for 32 over a 27 bid. Our 64 looked way too much for Wade, until I went to the 1250 mixed where I lost him for 51 to my 44 bid. I wonder if no one else bid for him or if they just got their higher pick.

BTW: very nice bidding there! getting two players for 54 to 49 and 71 to 67! you bid about as perfectly as possible!
