I was in and out of the game in the early going - and it was very exciting to see Jiminez and his record setting 10 K's in 4 IP - then the game proceeded and the DR team just kept stranding runner (14 LOB I think). After flipping back and forth and putting kids to sleep - I was able to catch the last 4 innings uninterrupted and have to say that it was good stuff. Nice to have Jim Kaat in the booth.

As for the DR team - A Jose Reyes team chokes again, the '09 curse of Arod continues, Marmol blows his first big game of the year and Willy Aybar becomes the Bill Buckner of the Dominican Republic.

How bad did David Ortiz look? Guy was hitting against low minor leaguers at best.

Watching Ortiz hit the one ball in the gap and almost getting thrown out at 2nd base was amazing.

He is Benji Molina slow.

I wanted to post this before Ichiro got a hit...pardon my French, but defensive indifference is for pussies.

Cost Korea a run there.

A couple drunken notes! :D

Ichiro looks OLD.

There's something innately powerful about country pride...love it of hate it...it is powerful.

This makes BOS vs. NYY or the world series seem like such commercial BS.
